These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Mitsumi Account Management application.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Account Management application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.
2. Eligibility
The App is provided to employees and authorised partners of Mitsumi Distribution for the purpose of recording sales activity, managing pipeline deals, and reporting field visits. Access is granted by an administrator and may be revoked at any time.
3. Location Data & GPS Tracking
As a condition of using the App as a Sales Representative, you consent to continuous foreground and background GPS tracking during your normal working hours. GPS pings (latitude, longitude, accuracy, and reverse-geocoded address) are uploaded approximately every two minutes whenever you have moved at least 100 meters. This data is used to (a) verify and audit field visits, (b) populate the company live-map and rep-coaching analytics, and (c) reconcile your daily log entries. You may withdraw consent at any time by disabling background tracking in Settings, but doing so may disable certain App features and may be reviewed by management.
4. Background Sync & Connectivity
The App uses background processes to upload pings and to sync your daily logs even when the app is closed or your screen is locked. When you are offline, data is queued securely on your device and synced automatically when connectivity is restored.
5. Data Collection
In addition to location, the App collects: your account profile (name, email, role), every daily log you submit (KPI counts, lead details, attached proposals, partner links), every pipeline deal you create or update, every successful and unsuccessful sign-in attempt, and a per-user audit trail of major actions (deal stage moves, password changes, GPS permission grants/denials, file uploads, etc.).
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to (i) share your account credentials with anyone, (ii) tamper with or attempt to bypass the App's GPS tracking, (iii) attempt to access another user's data, or (iv) use the App for any purpose other than legitimate Mitsumi business.
7. Confidentiality
Pipeline data, partner lists, exchange rates, customer contact details, and proposals stored in the App are confidential property of Mitsumi Distribution. You must not export, screenshot, forward, or otherwise disclose this information outside of authorised work channels.
8. Termination
Mitsumi may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these terms. Upon termination your local cached data is wiped on next launch.
9. Liability
The App is provided "as is". Mitsumi makes no warranty regarding GPS accuracy, network reliability, or third-party services used by the App (mapping providers, email delivery, etc.).
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute arising from your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
